APLA BREEDER POLICY
The American Pointing Lab Association (APLA) provides this list as a valued resource to the public. As these are private individuals and businesses the APLA can not endorse, recommend or promote them nor accepts responsibility for client-business contracts or relationships.
To be on this list you must be a current member of the APLA & have an active website.
The breed standard is defined by the Labrador Retriever Club, which is the official AKC parent organization of our breed.
Note that the LRC's Genetic's Committee does not accept Labrador Retrievers carrying the "dilute" gene as purebred Labs. Currently, UKC also does not recognize Labradors carrying the dilute gene as purebred Labrador Retrievers; they will not register them and therefore, these dogs may not compete in any APLA events.
You will not be permitted to advertise on this website, if you sell dilute or mixed/designer breeds of Labradors or other type of dogs. [i.e. Labradoodle Goldendoodle, etc.].
