On behalf of the hosting club -- Heartland Pointing Labrador Retriever Club -- we'd like to welcome you all to beautiful Freeman, South Dakota on Labor Day weekend 2024 for the 4th Annual APLA Triple Crown Invitational!
Because this event is held over Labor Day weekend, we encourage you to book your lodging as soon as possible.
This is a busy holiday weekend for all.
Congratulations to all the 4xGMPRs and their handlers and owners who will be participating in the 2024 event!

HANDLERS MEETING/BITCH CHECK
Mandatory handlers meeting and check in will be at 5:30 pm on Friday, August 30th at the Hunt Test Grounds. All female dogs will be required to undergo a bitch check at this time. Dinner will be provided.
PRE-TRAINING GROUPS
We will have some nearby grounds available by reservation only for handlers who wish to form training groups to train in the days leading up to the Triple Crown. To reserve a spot in a training group, please contact Kim Krull, kkrull@gwtc.net or (605)-354-9752 and indicate how many people and dogs you will have.
RAFFLE
Bring your checkbooks or cash to the Saturday night Banquet for a chance to win some fabulous prizes and raise money to help offset the cost of this event. $5 raffle tickets, or save and buy 12 tickets for $50 or 25 tickets for $100. Cash or checks only.
HOSPITALITY
Friday Night Midwest-Themed Dinner
Join your fellow handlers Friday night at (TBD) for the judges/handlers meeting and a free dinner put on by the Heartland Pointing Labrador Retriever Club. The dinner will feature .
SATURDAY NIGHT BANQUET
Saturday night at The Barn at Graber Vineyards (43772 283rd Street, Freeman, SD) will be our Triple Crown Banquet, starting at 6 pm. Reservations are required and tickets must be purchased in advance on the APLA website by August 13th to ensure your spot. Cost is $15 person. There will be a very limited number of additional meals available for those who come at the last minute, but we can accept only cash or checks at the door.
